Ankeny Schools to Hold Recruitment Fair for Prospective Teachers and Coaches

From an Ankeny School District news release:

Ankeny Community Schools has begun recruiting educators to fill the approximately 35 teaching positions and numerous coaching positions approved by the Ankeny Board of Education for the 2013-14 school year. 

An invitation-only recruitment fair will be held at Ankeny High School on Jan. 26, 2013. 

Candidates may begin the process for selection to the recruitment fair immediately by visiting the school district website at www.ankenyschools.org, and selecting the Job Seekers tab in the upper right corner of the website and submit an application, cover letter, and resume to the Recruitment Fair.  Candidates will also be asked to take a screening survey. 

Applicants have until Jan. 20 to submit materials and an application.  Successful candidates will be invited to attend the recruitment event.  Candidates will have an opportunity to meet staff, community, students, and administrators.
