Ankeny Sports Complex: A Brief Look at the Project's Comprehensive Plan

"The first presentation here was given to the representatives from the school and city in November 2011. This is the Sports Facilty Advisory Group's initial overview of the project. The second presentation is a high-level overview of the project plan. This was also presented to joint staff from the school and city in April. It provides a break down of the phases and a summary of the expenses.

The high-level overview has property tax included; however, since this is a municipal project, there is no property tax. With that, by year four and five, a positive return in investment is seen (which is not reflected in the attached documents).

All of the numbers in these documents are flow-through numbers based on a complete facility where all entities are working together. If the project is built in phases, then these numbers will change."
