A town hall meeting will be held for residents interested in learning more about the proposed $78.3 million plan. The meeting will be Sunday night from 6-8 p.m. at Northview Middle School.

Residents and developers alike have weighed in with their questions, opinions and general two-cents on the proposal, which includes developing an athletic complex featuring commercial properties on the east side of Interstate Highway 35 along First Street. It would include a football stadium, competition pool, and both indoor and outdoor complexes.

Representatives from the Sports Facility Advisory Group, the organization responsible for creating the detailed plan, will be on hand at the meeting to talk about the project and answer questions. The organization is also sponsoring the event.
