Ankeny SummerFest 2013: Friday Schedule of Events

Ankeny SummerFest 2013 continues Friday with activities for the entire family.

To help make things easy for you, here's the schedule of events for Friday, July 12. A majority of these events occur at 1010 N.W. Prairie Ridge Dr. Locations will be noted accordingly.

5 p.m. to Midnight: The Ankeny Summerfest Carnival

5 p.m. to 11:45 p.m. Summerfest Leisure Garden

8 a.m.:  Ankeny Alumni Association Golf Tournament

Where: Otter Creek Golf Course

9 to 5 a.m. Traditional with a Twist

Where: FFA Enrichment Center

5 p.m.: Ankeny Alumni Association Banquet

Where: Our Lady's Immaculate Heart Catholic Church

6 p.m.: Ankeny SummerFest Kiddie Parade

Where: Uptown Ankeny

6-10 p.m.: Men's Slow Pitch Softball Tournament

Where:  Hawkeye Softball Complex

6 to 8:40 p.m. Friday Opening Band ~ Abby Normal

8:45-11:45 p.m.: Band – Fahrenheit

Where:  Leisure Garden

7 p.m.: Bill Riley State Fair Talent Show

Where: Community Stage at Prairie Ridge Stadium

8-10 p.m.: SummerFest Splash Dance

Where: Cascade Falls Aquatic Center
