Ankeny SW State Street Traffic Shift To Begin July 7

Traffic will be shifted on SW State Street to head-to-head in the south bound lanes between SW Ordnance Road and West First Street on Tuesday, July 7, weather permitting. This is necessary for the continued construction on the SW State Street Reconstruction - Northbound Lanes project. For the safety of the construction workers, drivers are encouraged to slow down through the active construction zones.

The SW State Street Reconstruction – Northbound Lanes project includes the full depth removal and replacement of the street pavement, reconstruction of storm sewer intakes and the installation of sub-drain along the pavement.
