Ankeny Taxpayers Association Endorses School Board Incumbents

Newly-formed group recently announced its support of Martin, Johnson, Murphy and Petersen in their bids for re-election.

The Ankeny Taxpayers Association recently announced its endorsement of the four incumbents seeking re-election to the Ankeny school board.

The association supports Ankeny school board members Leslie Petersen, Trent Murphy, Aaron Johnson and Andrew Martin in their bids for re-election. Members based their opinion on tax figures gathered from the State of Iowa and those presented by the Ankeny school district, said a press release issued by the association's president Eric Davison.

The association thanked all eight candidates for the opportunity to learn about them, the release said, and it looks forward to working with the eventual election winners.
