Ankeny Temporary NW 18 Street Closure To Begin On August 3

NW 18th Street will be closed in both directions beginning Monday, Aug. 3, 2020 between NW State Street and NW Ash Drive. Business access, as well as access to the north entry of Prairie Ridge Sports Complex will be accessible. Vehicles traveling eastbound will be detoured south along NW State Street to NW Prairie Ridge Drive, and then north along NW Ash Drive back to NW 18th Street. Vehicles traveling westbound will be detoured south along NW Ash Drive to NW Prairie Ridge Drive, and then north along NW State Street back to NW 18th Street. Westbound traffic along NW 36th Street will remain open. This closure is associated with the repair of a sanitary sewer drop connection at NW 18th Street and NW Elm Drive for the City of Ankeny Sanitary Sewer Repairs project. Construction is anticipated to last approximately three weeks, subject to weather.
