Ankeny Triumphs in Let's Roll Bowl
The Hawks defeated Southeast Polk, 12-7, in a patriotic showdown in Ankeny Friday night.
The Ankeny Hawks football team downed Southeast Polk in Friday's game in Ankeny.
The game, coined the Let's Roll Bowl, paid honor to the memories of the victims of the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks in New York, Washington, D.C., and Pennsylvania, as well as recognized members of local agencies.
Ankeny's defense held the Rams to seven points in a 12-7 win.
