Ankeny Woman Searching for $16,000 Ring After it's Misplaced at West Des Moines Mall
The woman told police the ring was lost by her daughter, who took it with her when she went shopping at Jordan Creek Town Center.
An Ankeny woman may be out one diamond ring following a shopping trip to Jordan Creek Town Center in West Des Moines.
A $16,125 diamond ring, to be exact.
According to an article by the Des Moines Register, the woman reported the ring missing to West Des Moines police, telling them her daughter picked it up from a Clive jeweler on Dec. 17 and proceeded to take it with her when she went shopping at the mall.

The teenager reportedly placed the ring in an American Eagle bag while shopping, the Register said, but when she got home from the mall, the bag was missing.
She told her mom she believed the bag had been stolen or that she accidentally left it in the bathroom at the mall, the article said.
