June 28

Nicholas J. Vacco, 19, Des Moines, was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia following an incident that occurred in the 800 block of Southeast Corporate Woods Drive.

June 30

Antonio De Jesus Rodriguez, 21, Des Moines, was charged with driving while barred (habitual offender) and no insurance following a traffic stop that occurred on northbound Interstate 35 near mile marker 92.

Levi E. Thompson, 27, Ankeny, was arrested on an outstanding Polk County warrant following an incident that occurred in the 800 block of Southwest Third Street.

Police responded to the 1700 block of Southeast Delaware Avenue at approximately 2:35 p.m. for a report of a theft.

July 3

Jared D. Simonsen, 21, Ankeny, was charged with assault causing bodily injury following an incident that occurred in the 300 block of Northeast Ninth Street.

July 4

Tracy G. Davis, 49, Ankeny, was charged with domestic abuse assault with injury following an incident that occurred in the 100 block of Northwest College Avenue.

A 17-year-old juvenile was charged with assault causing bodily injury following an incident that occurred in the 500 block of Northwest Scott Street.

July 5

Timothy S. Rehard, 50, Ankeny, was arrested on an outstanding warrant following an incident that occurred in the 400 block of Southwest Ordnance Road.
