Auditions for 'Francine's Will'
Auditions for 'Francine's Will' will be held February 15 and 16 at Ankeny Community Theatre.
Ankeny Community Theatre will be holding auditions for Francine’s Will, written by on Mary Datillo, Sunday, February 15 and Monday, February 16 at 7:00 PM at the theater which is located at 1932 SW 3rd Street in Ankeny. Production dates for the show are April 10 - 26.
Cast requirements are as follows: four men (ages 20 - 50), and five females (ages 20 - 60). Ages are approximate. Character descriptions may be found on our website. Please fill out the online audition form before coming to auditions and also bring a copy with you. Auditions will consist of reading from the script. Scripts will not be available for checkout ahead of time. When Francine Faraday dies, her entire estate goes to her longtime companion H.P. Manly. While the loyal members of Francine’s staff are delighted, her money-hungry relatives are furious. Though the will is ironclad, the relatives learn that they can inherit Francine’s fortune if H.P. dies of “natural” causes. As the family plots H.P.’s demise, the staff schemes to save him, resulting in counter-plots and mixed-up romances aplenty.
