The creative process that involves expressing yourself artistically may help to reduce stress, as well as develop and manage behaviors, feelings, resolve issues and improve self-esteem and awareness.
Did you have a hard time expressing yourself verbally today? Try painting, drawing, photography, sculpture, or a variety of other types of visual art expression. Don't be afraid of expressing yourself through art. It may seem difficult or unnatural at first, but that's because we are typically not used to communicating via the arts. You may even find that the creative process can be one of the most rewarding aspects.
You don’t need to be talented or be an "artist". Just use the creative process of making art to improve your physical, mental, and emotional well-being! Remember that the goal is not necessarily to create an art masterpiece. Stay calm, be creative and just make art!
