Addicted to cake balls? No worries. Those will still be available, too.

"Pink champagne is our most popular flavor in those," Sherman said. "So are chocolate, red velvet and margarita."

Sherman and her husband, Shawn, opened Bekkwith’s in 2011 after several years of Sherman making cakes for weddings and special occasions. They first introduced the cake balls at the Ankeny Farmers Market and discovered people particularly liked the product.

The bakery is named after their daughter, Rebekkah.

A year ago, Bekkwith's moved from its location on East First Street to the place it currently resides.

Sherman said it was a great move, and business has been great as a result.
