The adolescent world can be hard for parents to navigate. Two books by Rosalind Wiseman give parents advice on understanding teen social hierarchy and helping children deal with it. Ankeny Community Education is offering two FREE classes that will discuss the books Masterminds and Wingmen and Queen Bees and Wannabes.
To register:
Step 1: Go online to www.ankenyschools.org and select the Community Education tab in the left column
Step 2: Click on the typing icon in the right column
Step 3: Select the category Family and Parenting, then the class, and follow the remaining instructions to check out.
Phone-in registrations are accepted at 289-3960, or register in person at the Ankeny Community Education Office is at 306 SW School Street. Registration hours are Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 4:30 pm.
