UPDATE: (Sept. 14, 2021, 2:50 p.m.) Aubrielle K. McKeel was located safe this afternoon and has been returned home. The Ankeny Police Department would like to thank the public for their help in this matter.

The Ankeny Police Department is seeking assistance locating a runaway 12 year old who has not been seen since Friday, Sept. 10.
Aubrielle K. McKeel was last seen on in the early evening hours of Friday, Sept. 10 near the playground at Autumn Ridge Mobile home park located at 2050 Four Seasons Drive in Ankeny. She did not return home that evening and a missing person report was made with our agency. Attempts to locate Aubrielle have been unsuccessful, however, Aubrielle did contact her mother via social media on Sunday, Sept. 13, but would not tell her mother where she currently was located.
