The City of Ankeny invites the public to a community focus group meeting to gather additional input regarding public transportation in Ankeny. The meeting will be held Wednesday, Aug. 25, 6-7 p.m. at the Ankeny Kirkendall Public Library, 1250 SW District Drive. Feedback collected in the meeting will help the City better understand residents’ transit expectations including cost to taxpayers and usage. This meeting is part of the overall transit study.

Ankeny’s current transit services include Des Moines Area Regional Transit Authority (DART) Route 98 express bus and Route 4 local bus, Ankeny On-call Demand Response bus, DART Paratransit and DART Bus Plus. For more information about DART service visit www.ridedart.com.
