On Thursday, Sept. 2, utility customers who live in select areas of Ankeny will likely experience a drop in water pressure beginning at 9 a.m. This includes water customers located west of NW State Street to NW Polk City Drive, and from SW Vintage Drive to NW 54th Street (see map). Work is estimated to be completed by 7 p.m., however this may change due to any unforeseen circumstances.

The City of Ankeny will be connecting a new water transmission main to the booster station as part of the Irvinedale Drive Transmission Water Main project. To do this safely, the city will need to turn off the NW Booster Station and allow the normally boosted homes to feed from the Central/Main Zone.
