City Of Ankeny: Southbound SW State Street Reduced To One Lane Starting Sept. 13.

The City of Ankeny will start work on the southbound lanes of SW State Street on Sept.13, weather permitting, and continue through October. During this time, southbound SW State Street will be reduced to one lane from SW Ordnance Road to SW Oralabor Road.  A signed detour for trucks over 10’ wide will be in place that routes from SW State Street onto SW Ordnance Road to S Ankeny Boulevard/Hwy 69. 

This work is part of the 2021 Pavement Preservation Program – SW State Street (Southbound Lanes) which includes the partial depth repair patching and crack and joint cleaning and filling.
