In preparation for the 2013-14 school year, Des Moines Public Schools are offering free physicals to all Polk County students on Saturday, July 27, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. The screening will be held at East High School in Des Moines, located at 815 E. 13th St.
Services provided include physicals, immunizations, dental screenings, lead tests, mental health screenings and more.Â
Participants will also receive a backpack filled with school supplies.
