May 15

James J. Dixon, 50, Des Moines, was arrested on an outstanding warrant following an incident in the 100 block of Southeast Sharon Drive.

Police responded to the 300 block of Northeast Aaron Lane at about 6:38 p.m. for a report of a burglary.

May 16

Maggie L. Anderson, 36, Ankeny, was charged with domestic assault and child endangerment following an incident in the 1800 block of Southwest White Birch Circle.

Jonathan S. Dings Jr., 20, Urbandale, was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief following a report made to the Ankeny Police Department, 411 S.W. Ordnance Road.

Police responded to 2010 S.E. Delaware Ave. at about 11:35 a.m. for a report of third-degree theft (shoplifting).

Police responded to the 700 block of Southeast Dalbey Drive at about 2:45 p.m. for a report of an attempted burglary.

May 18

Donald L. Bieghler, 47, Ankeny, was arrested on an outstanding warrant following an incident in the 700 block of Southeast Ponds Edge Circle.

Trey A. Brown, 19, Des Moines, was charged with possession of marijuana following a traffic stop that occurred in the 100 block of Southwest Magazine Road.

Brandon S. Stanford, 24, Ankeny, was charged with domestic abuse assault with intent or a weapon and assault (willful injury) following an incident that occurred in the 2300 block of Southwest Oralabor Road.

Police responded to the 1100 block of Northwest Maple Street at about 7:32 a.m. for a report of a burglary.
