Drug Possession, Public Intoxication Charges Top Ankeny Police Blotter

Dec. 2
Taurean L. Murray Sr., 30, Ankeny, was charged with driving with a revoked license following a traffic incident that occurred in the 300 block of Northwest State Street.
Dec. 19
Jacob A. Hamilton, 32, West Des Moines, was charged with third-degree burglary of a vehicle following an incident that occurred in the 1700 block of South Ankeny Boulevard.
Autumn R. Flowers, 25, Des Moines, was charged with driving while barred (habitual offender) following a traffic incident that occurred in the 400 block of Northeast Grant Street.

Philip J. Kinney, 54, Ankeny, was charged with child endangerment following an incident at the Ankeny Police Department, 411 S.W. Ordnance Rd.

Timothy M. Fry, 34, Crocker Township, was charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated following a traffic incident that occurred near the intersection of Southwest Oralabor Road and White Birch Drive.
Dec. 29
Amanda M. Bell, 27, Crocker Township, was charged with public intoxication following an incident that occurred at 410 N. Ankeny Blvd.
Holly L. Vertz, 38, Des Moines, was charged with possession of prescription drugs and drug paraphernalia following a traffic incident that occurred in the 6300 block of Southeast Convenience Boulevard.
Police responded to the 2700 block of North Ankeny Boulevard at approximately 12:57 a.m. for a report of criminal mischief and burglary.
Dec. 30
Marvin O. Campos, 29, Ankeny, was arrested on an outstanding city of Des Moines warrant following an incident that occurred in the 300 block of Southeast Lowell Drive.
Lander L. Chilel-Salazar, 26, Ames, was charged with public intoxication following an incident that occurred at Kum & Go, 1025 E. First St.
Tomas Cmtom, 24, Ames, was charged with public intoxication following an incident that occurred at Kum & Go, 1025 E. First St.
Donald M. Pfeiffer, 45, Des Moines, was charged with possession of marijuana following a traffic incident that occurred in the 700 block of East First Street.

Rodney D. Karass, 32, Maxwell, was charged with third-degree harassment following an incident that occurred in the 2000 block of West First Street.

Marissa N. Fisher, 18, Ankeny, was charged with possession of marijuana, a Schedule III substance, and drug paraphernalia following a traffic incident that occurred near the intersection of Southwest Court Avenue and Irvinedale Drive.
