Ankeny Community Theatre

The Big Five-Oh! enters its final weekend of the run with shows Friday / Saturday evenings at 7:30pm and on Sunday at 2:00pm. For the performance on Saturday evening (August 17), Ankeny Community Theatre will be honored with the presence of the playwright for The Big Five-Oh!, Brian Mitchell. Brian is a local author from Grinnell. Brian would be happy to greet the audience any questions they might have about the show.

If you have an interest in meeting a playwright, this would be a great opportunity. Reservations for this evening are highly recommended.

Meet the teacher night is tomorrow, August 13 from 4:30-6:30 pm. This is an open house for Grades K-5 where you and your child can drop in at your convenience to meet his/her classroom teacher. During this time you can also drop off school supplies. Meet the Teacher Night is the only scheduled time for you and your child to stop and meet with your teacher prior to the start of the school year.
