Over 850 Ankeny instrumentalists will perform the National Anthem as part of the opening ceremonies of the on Saturday, October 15 at Ankeny High School Stadium. Ankeny band students in grades 6-12, conducted by Mr. Scott Hook, will perform the national anthem as the initial performance of the marching band contest that will feature 24 bands from across Iowa, Minnesota, and South Dakota.
The performance will begin at 4:15pm.
