The Ankeny Community School District invites parents and the community to a 90-minute update meeting with Superintendent of Schools Dr. Matthew Wendt on the future of the school district.
Topics addressed will include:
- The current state of academic achievement
- Opening of the second new high school
- Status of doubling athletics and co-curricular activities
- Property taxes
- Strategic planning for world-class schools
- Prairie Trail Elementary, class sizes and boundary lines
- An opportunity to answer questions from those attending

All meetings will be held in the new Ankeny High School Auditorium, 1155 SW Cherry St.

- Parkview and Prairie Ridge parents: Tuesday, August 23, 6:30 p.m.
- North feeder system elementary parents: Monday, August 29, 6:30 p.m.
- South feeder system elementary parents: Tuesday, August 30, 6:30 p.m.
- Northview and AHS parents: Thursday, September 1, 6:30 p.m.
If parents cannot make the meeting specifically directed toward their school, they are welcome to attend another evening.
