Several Ankeny retailers are coming together to host a unique shopping event to promote local business and give shoppers a chance to score some prizes.
Six Ankeny businesses are holding the first-ever Girls Night Out Bunco event from 4-9 p.m. on Thursday, April 12. Based on a popular game that involves "100 percent luck and no skill", local shoppers will have a chance to roll a set of dice at each location to win a prize.
Participating businesses include , , , , and The Attic, located at 1509 S. Ankeny Blvd.

Shoppers can stop in to any one of these six businesses for a chance to roll the dice and win a prize. Prizes include $50 gift cards from each location as well as a free night's stay at the Courtyard Marriott in Ankeny.
In addition to bunco, Barefoot Chic also will be holding a fashion show at 7 p.m.

During the event, refreshments also will be served at participating businesses.
