The event gives dogs and dog-lovers a chance to socialize and concludes five years of fundraising by the founding members of the Ankeny Dog Park Task Force. Ankeny’s 7.5-acre off-leash dog park opened in 2010, thanks to title sponsor Community State Bank and many generous donors.

Future fundraising efforts will commence as new Task Force members and enhancements are identified. Anyone interested in becoming a volunteer Dog Park Ambassador or Task Force member is encouraged to contact Ankeny Parks & Recreation at 963-3570.
