Body Sculpting is an exercise and strengthening class designed for deep muscle toning based on isotonic and isometric principals for fast results. Participants will develop muscular tone and skeletal strength so you look good and feel great. The spring session offered by Parks & Recreation will begin on April 24.
The class is instructed by Lisa Sheldahl. Classes will be held at the Outdoor Education Center, located at 610 NE 36th Street, from 8:30–9:30 a.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays. This session will run from April 24 through May 31. Participants must be 18 years or older. Cost is $40 for a resident and $48 for a non-resident. The registration deadline is April 24. To register, go to the Ankeny Parks & Recreation Office at 210 South Ankeny Blvd or online at www.ankenyiowa.gov.
Exercises throughout the class will involve mats and resistance bands. Resistance bands will be provided, however participants should bring their own mat.
