DMACC Fall Concert

The Des Moines Area Community College (DMACC) Fall Concert will be held at 7:30 p.m., Fri., Oct. 14 in the Bldg. #6 Auditorium on the DMACC Ankeny Campus.

The Chamber Choir will perform pieces that have "Water" as a theme or subject.  Titles that will be presented at the concert range from the classic spiritual Wade in the Water to Samuel Barber's To Be Sung on Water.  There is also a hint of jazz on the program, with a medley entitled An Ellington Jazz Trio, which contains the titles Satin Doll, Solitude and It Don't Mean a Thing If It Ain't Got that Swing.
