Eat and Support a Good Cause! Fundraiser for Ankeny Dollars for Scholars

From 5 to 8 p.m. on Monday, April 1st, eat at HuHot in Ankeny to support Ankeny Dollars for Scholars!  Volunteers will bus tables and help staff to earn 10% of the restaurant's proceeds between those hours -- as well as tips provided directly to volunteers.  

In its 30th year, Ankeny Dollars for Scholars is a non-profit community organization affiliated with the national scholarship group Scholarship America that serves as a clearinghouse for generous businesses, groups, and individuals who donate to support or fund scholarships.  

Since 1984, Ankeny Dollars for Scholars has awarded $750,000 in scholarships to graduating Ankeny High School seniors.  Donations toward a $500 scholarship may be made in any amount; a $300 donation enables the donor to name a scholarship.
