Evening at HuHot in Ankeny: Fundraiser to Support Ankeny Kiwanis Club and AKC's Ankeny High School Key Club

Eat dinner at HuHot and help Ankeny Kiwanis and Key Club earn money to support their service projects!

This fundraiser will help both clubs!  Members will assist HuHot staff in bussing tables, keeping the buffet line stocked, and cleaning.  In return, HuHot will donate 10% of the proceeds earned during that 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. time period to clubs!  *In addition, HuHot will allow members to collect donations/tips to go directly and in full to club service projects--including Ankeny Kiwanis's "Operation Underwear: Donate New Children's Socks and Underwear to Ankeny Schools' Nurses and T.A.K.E. (The Ankeny Klothing Exchange)"!  Operation Underwear helps Ankeny school nurses meet an ongoing need by providing clothing items to students who needed them; when school nurses tell us they have enough items in stock to meet short term needs, Operation Underwear then provides items to T.A.K.E. Donate any time via public collection bins located inside the Kirkendall Library lobby (near the circulation desk) and in the Ankeny Community Education office (at 306 SW School Street).  For more information about AKC and the AKC-sponsored Ankeny High School Key Club, see www.ankenykiwanis.org.
