Ankeny students have been entertaining audiences with song and dance for years, long before television programs made show choir a national story.
Of course, seeing and hearing it live is always better.
Ankeny area show choir enthusiasts can be the first to see the competition shows of all three Ankeny High School show choirs – Visual Adrenaline, Perpetual Motion, and Intensity – at the 2011 Fall Show Choir Classic.

The Classic will be held Saturday, November 12, at 7:00 PM, and Sunday, November 13, at 2:00 PM., in the Ankeny High School auditorium (1155 SW Cherry St.) Tickets for the event are $8, and will be available beginning Monday, November 7 in the AHS Activities Office.
Choral music fans should also mark their calendars for the 2011 Festival of Choirs, which will be held December 3-4.
