There are spots available for the 2012 Ankeny Police PBA Gumshoe Charity Classic which will be held at Otter Creek Golf Course in Ankeny on June 22. This event is a 4-person scramble. Registration fee of $65 covers breakfast from Hy-Vee, lunch from Outback Steakhouse, golf, range balls, cart, and a tournament t-shirt. Raffle tickets are available.
The Gumshoe Charity Classic was established as an annual golf outing in 2006 in an effort to raise money for deserving local organizations. Over the past 6 years the PBA has donated over $31,000 to organizations such as the Behavioral Resources Center, Wildwood Hills Ranch, Rebuilding Together, Veteran’s Airlift Command, the Young Women’s Resource Center and the Ankeny Police PBA. The beneficiaries for the 2012 Gumshoe include the Rabiner Treatment Center and Cops Against Cancer.
