The Merle Hay Urbandale Kiwanis’ 18th Annual Jim Jordan Memorial Golf Classic to benefit Special Olympics Iowa (SOIA) is scheduled for Wednesday, August 22 at Otter Creek Golf Course in Ankeny.
Registration for this four-person, 18-hole best shot tournament begins at 7:00 a.m. with a shotgun start at 8:00 a.m. and awards following. The cost is $80 per golfer which includes 18 holes of golf, a cart, lunch and prizes. Kiwanis members receive $10 off of their registration fee.
“This event would not be possible without the planning and organization of the Merle Hay–Urbandale Kiwanis Club and the generosity of event sponsors EMC Insurance, the Knights of Columbus, and lunch sponsor William C. Knapp Charitable Foundation,” said SOIA Director of Grants Management and Special Events, Abby Fellingham.
