The city of Ankeny Leaf Collection Days will begin on Saturday, Oct. 29 and will run through Sunday, Nov. 20. The designated site for leaf collection is the , located at 1220 N.W. Prairie Ridge Drive.
The leaf collection site is open for leaf disposal 24 hours per day. City crews will assist residents on four consecutive weekends beginning Saturday, Oct. 29 through Sunday, Nov. 20 from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. each day.
Leaves collected in yard waste bags are permitted, and may be disposed in containers provided by the city. Plastic bags and other containers will be taken home by the resident following leaf disposal.

No open burning is allowed in Ankeny so plan to take advantage of this no cost opportunity to dispose of your leaves. Residents residing within the corporate limits of Ankeny may participate in this program.
