Every December and January the Ankeny Art Center hosts a member’s only gallery event. This year we will be hosting a Members Art Collection exhibit. Are you an art collector? Do you have an heirloom artwork? If you have purchased, owned or have been given a piece of art, we encourage our members to share this wonderful work with the community.

If you are not already a member and are interested in contributing to this exhibit, membership applications are being taken 2012 membership year. Memberships start at as little as $20 a year. This year at our member’s celebration we will be having a silent auction featuring jewelry, prints, ceramics, original art work and more. While you must be a member to exhibit work, our member’s celebration is free and open to the public. Drinks and appetizers will be served. We look forward to seeing you there!

The Ankeny Art Center is
located in a city park at SW Third and State Front Road. Hours: Tuesday-Friday 9am-1pm, Thursday
4pm-7pm, and Saturdays 9am-noon
The Center is closed Sunday
