Northwest Elementary Walk to School Day

You can make a difference protecting your environment, enjoying exercise and building our community with others simply by walking to school.

Northwest Elementary in Ankeny has registered to participate in “International Walk to School Day” on Wednesday, Oct. 5.  This event is expected to draw approximately 5,000 participants from all 50 states and 40 countries from around the world.

Let’s encourage our kids to be “Cool Walkers” and make arrangements for them to walk to school that day.
