One Way Street is coming!!!

One Way Street is a resource for christian puppetry, ventriloquism, gospel illusions, and much more, to enhance the worship experience.

One Way Street tours across the United States with training events in the form of festivals. There are 1 day SummerFests, 2 day Puppet Festivals, a 4 day Ministry Arts Xtra and a 6 day International Festival of Christian Puppetry and Ventriloquism.

The closest festivals to Des Moines, IA are usually located in Omaha, NE and Kansas City, KS. This year, on September 17, 2011, One Way Street is bringing a SummerFest One Day Training Event to the Northridge Baptist Church, 3700 6th Avenue, in Des Moines, IA!!!

These festivals are a great opportunity to meet other people who share the same desire to spread the Word of God in these unique formats. There are church's of many denominations, all around, using puppet ministry, ventriloquism, gospel illusions, and other non-traditional methods, and attending a One Way Street festival is a great opportunity to meet them.

The festivals consist of workshops, how-to classes, demonstrations, competitions and exciting performances. Anyone can attend, and teams are encouraged to share their talents in the competitions as a way for others to learn and get ideas.

Ankeny's own First United Methodist Church puppet team, Visual Scriptures, will be performing a 25 minute Christmas program, with and without the puppet curtains, during this festival
