Roadmap to Retirement Workshop

The Credit Union National Association reported that over 76 million Americans (more than one-quarter of the population) are approaching retirement. However, according to a survey by the Employee Benefit Research Institute, just 16 percent of workers said that they were “very confident” that they will have financial security in retirement.

Veridian Credit Union would like to help Iowans plan for a successful transition into retirement. That is why Veridian is offering Roadmap to Retirement, a free workshop and complimentary dinner that is open to the public. Veridian will host three separate events on successive days throughout the state.

The keynote speaker is Hendrix Niemann, a wealth management expert from CUNA Brokerage Services, Inc., who will show how to plan for the future in a challenging economy.

Niemann has been featured on the cover of Inc. magazine and has written for national publications like Inc., Ideal Living and Credit Union Times.

At the event, the evening will also consist of presentations from financial experts on topics such as investments, long-term care insurance, estate planning and funeral planning.
