The Ankeny Parks & Recreation department has teamed up with Faith Baptist Bible College to offer Spikefest Volleyball Camp for kids entering grades three through seven to improve the volleyball skills.
Faith College players and coaches will incorporate skills and drills along with team and individual competitions. A two-day clinic will be offered on June 4 and June 5 to boys and girls entering third and fourth grade. A three-day clinic from June 6 to June 8 is open to boys and girls entering grades five through seven. Both clinics will be held at Faith Baptist Bible College from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Registration fee for the two-day clinic is $55 for residents and $66 for non-residents. Fee for the three-day clinic is $85 for residents and $97 for non-residents. Fee includes a t-shirt and a water bottle. Campers are asked to pack a sack lunch each day they attend camp. The registration deadline is June 1 and is available online or at the Parks and Recreation office, 210 South Ankeny Blvd.
