McFarland Clinic Orthopedic Surgeon and Sports Medicine physician Bryan Warme, MD is hosting a free presentation Thursday, June 20 from 7:00pm to 8:00pm at the Kirkendall Public Library on the medical advancements of arthroscopic surgeries and on who is a candidate for knee arthroscopy.
Arthroscopy is a minimally invasive surgical procedure often used to examine and repair injuries to a joint, ligament or cartilage. Patients who have arthroscopy can generally expect a shorter recovery period and to be able to return to activities quicker.
In addition to seeing patients at McFarland Clinic, Dr. Warme currently serves as an orthopedic surgeon consultant to ISU athletes and recently completed his Sports Medicine Fellowship at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City, where he served as a fellow team physician and orthopedic surgeon for the NY Giants.
