
Get your groove on at WOOFstock 2012 for the ARL
The 6thannual WOOFstock concert event to benefit the Animal Rescue League of Iowa, Inc. (ARL) will be held on July 15 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the SummerFest Leisure Garden in the Prairie Ridge Sports Complex in Ankeny. New this year, WOOFstock will be the only dog-friendly event during Ankeny’s SummerFest weekend!
WOOFstock is a concert series featuring music from local bands The Java Jews and Fret Noise. The concert is free for dogs and $10 per person. All proceeds from this event go directly to support the homeless animals at the ARL. Each dog will receive a WOOFstock bandana and refreshments for dogs and humans will be available.

Register online today, or find out more at ARL-Iowa.org. All dogs participating must be current on their vaccinations (including rabies) and must be four months of age or older. NO female dogs in heat or retractable leashes will be allowed.
The Animal Rescue League of Iowa, Inc. (ARL) is a nonprofit organization founded in 1926. The ARL is the state’s largest animal shelter, serving over 19,000 animals each year from all corners of the state. The ARL is the greater Des Moines area’s only shelter that never turns away an animal in need.
