Faith Lutheran raises over $2,800 for clean water projects during October

Rise Up Tour stop at Clive church raises over $2,300 on October 17.

Clive, IA—Members of the Faith Lutheran Church community located here raised $2,842.14 for clean water projects sponsored by the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America during the month of October.
The Rise Up Tour, which stopped at Faith Lutheran Church here on October 17, raised $2,310.76 for Walk for Water, a mission of the ELCA. The tour, consisting of performances by Agape*, Joe Davis and Rachel Kurtz, was attended by members of about 12 ELCA congregations and others from around central Iowa.
Walk for Water endeavors to fund programs around the world which provide clean drinking water. According to the ELCA, around 1.8 billion people currently drink from contaminated water sources. For more information about Walk for Water, please visit www.ELCA.org/walk4water.
