The Ankeny Art Center is presenting a remarkable series of 24 paintings by pastel artist Pamela S. Douglas named 'Investigating Color' in the main gallery. In the side gallery, native Iowan Tom Harnack and other artists from Omaha Clay Works will display some of their most creative and fascinating fine art pottery.
The opening reception for both exhibits is June 5 from 5-7pm and the art work will be on display in our gallery from June 3 to July 30, 2014. If you're interested in seeing outstanding artwork by local Iowa artists, don’t miss these two outstanding exhibits! All exhibitions and receptions are free and open to the public.
Come and see these local artist's work, have a glass of wine and some hors d'oevres! It's a great way to start an evening before going out to dinner (or a great excuse to go out to dinner afterwards).
