One Ankeny restaurant is among ten finalists in a statewide competition for Iowa's Best Burger.
The Ankeny Diner is among the list of restaurants selected from more than 300 nominees to help determine which restaurant has the best burger in Iowa, according to WHO Channel 13.
The contest is held each year. The Iowa Beef Council began accepting nominations in February, the article said.

An anonymous panel of judges will try burgers at the finalist locations before the winner is chosen, according to TV station. The champion burger will be selected based on presentation, appearance, taste and safety (cooked to a medium 160 degrees).
