Stained glass windows, a grand staircase, ornate architecture, beautiful ballrooms, vibrant gardens and a historic setting in downtown Des Moines all make the World Food Prize Hall of Laureates, formerly the Des Moines Public Library, the perfect setting for weddings. This beautiful building on the riverfront is quickly becoming a premier location for events in Central Iowa.
The World Food Prize Hall of Laureates Wedding Open House will feature tours of the Hall’s unique rooms and spaces, as well as the opportunity to meet with preferred vendors, including caterers, photographers, wedding planners and event decorators. Couples can also meet with Hall of Laureates staff to book an event.
The event is free and attendees are invited to register ahead of time at www.worldfoodprize.org/weddings. Walk-ins are welcome, as well.
