From the city of Ankeny: Compete against local talent during the annual SummerFest 3-on-3 Tip-Off Youth Basketball Tournament. The tournament is for both boys and girls entering fifth through eighth grades and will be held on Thursday, July 11 at Ashland Ridge. This is an outdoor tournament; in case of inclement weather, games will be played indoors.
This tournament is double elimination featuring a division for fifth and sixth graders while seventh and eighth graders go head-to-head in a separate division; teams are guaranteed two games. Games will start at 10 a.m. at Ashland Ridge Elementary located at 2600 NW Ash Drive.
Registration fee is $25/team of three, with a registration deadline of July 1.
