If The Economy Is Recovering, Why Is The Fed Still Doing This?

How many "recovery summers" have we had?

Our government has spend trillions of dollars in the last 6 years (yes, it started with Bush) to force our economy into a recovery.  We've been told for several summers in a row now that we were experiencing a "recovery summer".  We're told that the unemployment rate going down means employment is improving.

So if the economy is getting better, why is the Federal Reserve still pumping $85 billion a month into the economy?  If the economy is getting better, why is that still needed?  The Fed's outlook on the economy is not positive.  Clearly more government spending does not improve an economy.

And who does this Fed pumping help?  Does it help you and me?  No.  It helps the banks.  It helps Wall Street.  It helps that wealthiest 1% the Progressives complain about.  It doesn't help the average American, except to devalue the dollar and make consumer costs higher.
