See if you've heard this before. We have the following:
- A US Senator
- The senator's father is foreign born
- The senator's mother is a US citizen
- People questioning whether or not the senator is eligible to run for president
I've heard that before, and those birthers are people who willingly choose to ignore the facts. But the birther idea is starting up again,
this time with Senator Ted Cruz. His father was born in Cuba, and he escaped Castro's oppressive regime. His mother is a US citizen. He was born in Canada. As the child of a US citizen he is by default a US citizen. As such, he is eligible to run for president if he so chooses. But that doesn't stop the new birther movement from getting rolling.
When will the birther nonsense stop?
