ISU Bacon Expo 2014: Tickets on Sale for Bacon-Filled Fun in Ames, IA
This year's bacon-filled event takes place on Nov. 8 from 1-5 p.m. at the Hansen Agriculture Student Learning Center on Iowa State's campus.
ISU Bacon Expo, the only student-run event of its kind in the nation, offers hundreds of pounds of bacon to its attendees, as well as plenty of family-friendly entertainment like live music, bacon eating contests, a “Pig Pen” activity area geared toward the younger bacon enthusiasts, and educational opportunities about agriculture.
Many ISU clubs are attending to educate about agriculture, as well as play games with the kids. There will also be various bacon specialty items -- unique bacon goodies that are not your average strips of bacon! You’re not only in for a delicious time, but you’ll be supporting the ISU students who’ve been tirelessly working to, literally, bring home the bacon.
