Join Ankeny's Kirkendall Public Library for Annual Family Fun Run

Kirkendall Public Library in Ankeny is holding its annual Family Fun Run tomorrow, May 30, and it's not too late to participate.

Kids can help Ozzie the Owl learn more about dinosaurs at this year's walk. Participants can can start their adventure any time between 6 and 7:30 p.m. The marked path for the walk is approximately one mile and goes through Prairie Ridge Sports Complex.

In case of inclement weather the walk will be held indoors.Refreshments and entertainment will be provided at the conclusion of the walk and all children will receive a prize for participating. 

All proceeds of this event go to the Kirkendall Public Library Foundation for library programming. Walk-in registration is available the day of the event.

To register, go to Kirkendall Public Library located at 1210 N.W. Prairie Ridge Dr. or to pick up a registration form.Cost is $10 per individual or for a family of two, and $15 for a family of three or more.
